PASTEUR4OA/OA checker
The Nexa Center for Internet and Society at the Politecnico of Turin (DAUIN), partner of the PASTEUR Project, has developed an online service (see Image 1) to allow the comparison of any Open Access (OA) policy registered in ROARMAP database with the Horizon2020 funding program OA requirements.
Image 1: the landing page of the online service, available at: http://oa-check.nexacenter.org/
The data inside the tool is fetched directly from the ROARMAP website and web API. The sources for the Horizon OA requirements are the following:
-
Guidelines on Open Access to Scientific Publications and Research Data in Horizon 2020 (Version 2.1, 15 February 2016): § 3. Mandate on open access to publications
-
H2020 General Model Grant Agreement — Multi (Version 2.1, 1 October 2015): ARTICLE 29 — DISSEMINATION OF RESULTS — OPEN ACCESS — VISIBILITY OF EU FUNDING
Users can search or browse (by country, by type, as shown in Image 1) for a funder or research institution policy registered in RAOARMAP (data are fetched live), check its level of compliance (overall and field by field, see image 2) and discover the exact point of H2020 guidelines and General Model Grant Agreement which are aligned/misaligned (see image 3).
